KickApps.com San Francisco Labs is looking for a rock star PHP developer to join one of the biggest social networking technology companies around. More than 85,000 sites rely on KickApps technology to power their social networks, including the world`s most recognizable brands such as the BBC, HBO, U2, Madonna, NBA and NHL, and we`re growing bigger by the day.

We want a full-time Senior PHP Developer that can rock the party! We`re looking for someone with a deep understanding of web technologies and experienced in building web platforms. If we can dream it, you should be able to build it. It`s a fast-paced, but rewarding opportunity that offers exposure to the some of the most innovative social networking platforms in the world today, perfect for a senior developer seeking new challenges, and looking to take your coding and problem solving to the next level. Here`s the Absolute Must Haves we need from you (price to have all that fun):

> Current and rock-solid knowledge of PHP 5.x, deep understanding of implementing secure, fast PHP applications for both page generation and APIs.
> Experience working with MySQL 5.x with special focus on query performance tuning, replications and data partitioning etc.
> Ability to deliver quality code quickly from full specs, and work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
> Excellent analytical problem solving skills
> A portfolio (list of URLs and what you did on those sites will do)
> A wicked sense of humor

Things That Would Put Icing on the Cake:

> Familiarity with Facebook/OpenSocial/iphone apps
> Past experience at a social networking product
> Linux administration, mysql replications, networking
> Clustering solutions that use commodity hardware and smart software to keep sites up and running is a huge plus! (we don`t own mainframe)
> Being able to say the alphabet backwards while standing on one foot
