The Web Data Analyst is part of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama Internet site presence team and is responsible for analyzing, tracking, and reporting web site data to advance our understanding of our website users\' behavior and site-experience. The Web Data Analyst will provide insight on how to optimize website design, content, campaigns, and sales. This position will partner with internal departments to strategize, define, develop, and deliver website reporting and analysis that provides decision-makers with the information they need to maximize marketing, sales, administrative efficiencies, and overall business efforts.
Qualifications 1. Bachelor degree with emphasis in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field. 2. A minimum of five years of experience as a Systems Analyst and/or experience in the support of enterprise level projects. 3. Experience researching and analyzing data and presenting recommendations. 4. Experience in a position requiring problem solving and independent thinking. 5. Experience using various MS Office programs. 6. Proficiency managing and using web-based or data-based technology (including web-site architecture and operations, database experience and SQL). 7. Experience in a position developing and documenting technical processes and procedures. 8. Understanding of internet technology is preferred. 9. Web Analytics (eCommerce) site experience is preferred. 10. Formal training or experience with website usability is desired. 11. Experience with web analytical tools such as Webtrends and Clicktracks is desired. How to Apply
